SACBC Staff at Khanya House dedicated the Holy Mass of this morning to pray for the repose of the soul of Mama Buyisile Patronella Nkosi. She passed away on the morning hours of 25th September 2018 after a long illness.
During her life Mama Buyi, together with her husband Mr Jabu Nkosi, have been working tirelessly for Catholic Church Family Ministry, both nationally and in the Diocese of Witbank.
Mama Buyi was one of the representatives of SACBC during the Synod on Family, which was held in Rome in 2015. “During this time Mrs Buyi was already not well, but that did not hinder her from representing the local church in the synod”, said Sr Hermenegild Makoro, the SACBC Secretary General.
Sr Hermenegild also said Mrs Nkosi and her husband were very generous with their time for the service of the church. She also applauded her for a firm and strong faith. “Until the last moments of her life she stood by her faith and requested a priest for anointing. She died still being connected with Christ.” She said. Read more…. Read the rest of Catholic Church Mourns the Death of Mama Buyisile Nkosi »
